![]() ![]() Just a few days ago, longtime streamer TheSmithPlays announced he was also moving on to other things. Vivid's retirement is just the latest in what has been a mini-trend in the Fortniteand Call of Duty community. Vivid followed up the announcement that he was no longer with Cloud9 by saying he "didn't have the energy" to look for a new team and is retiring from competitive Fortnite altogether. "I just think it's just crazyyyy how we can commit to an org for 2-3 years and have no say what or where we go," he wrote using Twitlonger. He then explained he understood the decision had to do with business, but he would have liked to have been given more info on what was behind the decision. Vivid also said he didn't receive any real explanation during a meeting with Fortnite manager Robin. Unlike his teammate, he went into quite a bit more detail about how he felt, though Vivid still didn't explain what happened and why he and his partner were on the market again. Not long after Chap went public with his announcement, Vivid followed suit. Some of his followers believed he was joking, but he quickly made it clear he was 100 percent serious. Keep an eye on TaySon, he still has a lot to offer the Fortnite pro community in the coming years. ![]() Hen and Chapix were the Fortnite FNCs champions back in Fortnite Season 5 of Fortnite Chapter 1. He posted simply, "free agent, LOL" in all caps. TaySon placed first in the FNCs championship alongside other Fortnite pro players Hen and Chapix. Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani was one of the very first Fortnite streamer to be picked up by any organisation, with Team SoloMid aka TSM snapping up the 19-year-old in January.
